Gaining access to collive2, 3, and 4

Up to this point, access to these "images" of collive has been very tightly controlled by Computer Systems Development. But with the development of this process, that control is now transferred to the user.

Pre-requisites

UI 1.0 must already be installed on your computer.

Setup

Just follow these simple steps:

• Click on the Start button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen.
• Click on Run...
• If you are on-campus, key in the following and click on OK

• If you are off-campus and installing from a CD, key in the following and click on OK (remember that the letter z should be replaced with the address of your CD drive)

• Next, the Welcome screen will appear. Simply click on the Next button.

• The Installation Type screen will appear. Make sure that the Advanced option is selected; then click on Continue.

• The Advanced Database Functions screen will appear. If the account to which you need access is not listed in the Local install database(s) column, you can add it by clicking once on the database to be added, then clicking on the <-- button. Then, click on the Close button.

• The Setup Complete screen will appear again. Click on Finish.
