Have you heard about but not fully understood the College’s Academic Integrity policy or the Student Conduct Code? National surveys report that 80% of high school students say they have cheated at some point in their years of education. Do you think your students may be cheating, but you don’t know what to do about it? Have you had students misbehave in class, but you did not know which behaviors to deal with, which to ignore, and which to report to the Student Relations office? This session will explore the areas of academic integrity and student conduct and the policies and procedures which are related. This activity is required for all new full time faculty members as part of their orientation program; however, any faculty member who is interested in these issues is invited to attend.
