Would you like to know how to communicate using sign language?  Participants in this interactive course will be introduced to basic sign language which will include the manual alphabet, simple phrases, signs that will assist in communicating with deaf students in class or on campus. Cultural issues of deafness will also be addressed as well as tips for working with interpreters and having deaf students in the classroom.
