Q: Do I have to enroll in a session or can I just show up?
A: It is preferred you enroll; however, drop-ins are always welcome as long as there are seats available.  Please note that some activities, especially those involving hands-on technology, have limited seating.

Q: When I sign-on to MineOnline I am getting a message that says I have multiple ID’s.  Who do I contact?
A: Contact MineOnline Support Desk at 682-7590.

Q: What happens if a session is canceled or moved?
A: If you are enrolled in the session, you will be notified via e-mail of cancellations and/or room changes. Additionally, a sign specifying the new date, time and/or room number will be posted at the original location on the scheduled date.

Q: Where do I find WOW! activities?
A: A monthly Activity Schedule will be sent to all employees in the GroupWise e-mail system and to all adjuncts in the OCCC Webmail.  In addition, activities will be listed in the weekly Communicator and on the WOW! website.

Q: I am a presenter for a WOW! session.  How can I track who is enrolling in my session?
A:
Log-on to MineOnline and click on the following: Faculty/Staff Menu>Class Roster (under Faculty Information)>Term is FS2008 (date range is not required)>check the box next to your class>Submit

Q: I need a copy of the WOW! sessions I’ve attended.  Who do I contact?
A: Contact Melissa Dyer at mdyer@occc.edu or 682-7864.

Q: How can I make a suggestion for a presentation?
A: You can make a suggestion for a presentation by listing it on the evaluation form distributed at the end of every session or faculty can contact Trish Bilcik by email at tbilcik@occc.edu or at 682-1611 ext. 7223 and staff can contact Melissa Dyer by email at mdyer@occc.edu or at 682-7864.

Q: What if I want to present a WOW! activity?
A: A Call for Proposal form is listed on the WOW!  website or one can be sent to you by contacting Melissa Dyer mdyer@occc.edu  at 682-7864.

Q: Can I get CEU credits for the sessions I attend?
A: You may request a certificate of completion for the sessions you have completed by contacting Melissa Dyer mdyer@occc.edu  at 682-7864.  The certificate will include the name of the session, participant’s name, date of training and number of clock hours.  The participant’s CEU granting entity will determine how many CEU credits will be awarded.
