Teaching and Serving Culturally Diverse Students (Dr. King's Philosophy and Black History Month)

This session is particularly appropriate for February which is Black History Month.  Participants will help analyze the great American document "Letter from Birmingham Jail", review civil rights history and discuss Dr. King's philosophy and principles.  Information gained from this activity will empower faculty and staff in teaching and serving a student population that is racially and culturally diverse as well as recognizing effective leadership for social justice.
