This session will provide faculty with best and worst practices when using the Test Center at OCCC. In the academic world where communicating content from faculty resource to student learner is the primary activity, the faculty carries responsibility for evaluating whether or not effective communication occurred. Those who attend this workshop will have a wider perspective of 1) the philosophy of testing, 2) how new or alternate methods of testing can enhance the evaluative/learning process and 3) what can be done through the Test Center procedures to increase individual learning success by testing. Contributions from participants about improving procedures will be sought.
